Ekhlass International School follows the British national Curriculum and offers British based examinations, viz.
International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE). The school caters for both Malaysian and International students
from Foundation 1 and Foundation 2 (Reception / Kindergarten) through to Year 11.
In the primary school, children learn with the highly recognized Cambridge International Primary Curriculum, together with the
British National Curriculum. We offer Cambridge Primary Checkpoint (Year 6) which is designed to help students learn by providing
comprehensive feedback on their strengths and weaknesses in the key curriculum areas -English, Mathematics and Science.
We hold two Cambridge Primary Checkpoint test series each year, in May and October, covering all major areas of learning in the
Cambridge Primary curriculum frameworks for English, Mathematics and Science.
In the secondary school, Cambridge Checkpoint tests have been designed to assess learning at the end of Cambridge Secondary
They are available in English, Mathematics and Science, and give valuable feedback on learners’ strengths and weaknesses before they progress to the next stage of education. We hold one Cambridge Checkpoint test series each year which is in May. The tests cover all major areas of learning in the Cambridge Secondary 1 curriculum frameworks for English, Mathematics and Science.
This is then followed by the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE). The Cambridge IGCSE curriculum offersa variety of routes for learners with a wide range of abilities. Cambridge IGCSE examination sessions occur twice a year, in June and

Co-Curriculum Activities
Learning happens in many
different places and at different
times. Great emphasis is placed
on experiences and learning
opportunities outside of the
classroom.
There are opportunities for
children to apply their learning
beyond the classroom through
various excursions and day visits,
which are an essential part of the
curriculum.
These co-curriculum activities are
not diversions from the taught
curriculum or activities that
childrendo after class simply to
use up time, but rather extensions of what goes on in the classroom
and in their education journey.
At Ekhlass we offer co-curriculum
activities encompassing various
sports with professional coaches.
These activities are conducted
both on-premises and off-premises.
